Chinese Food For Thanksgiving

I missed having Turkey and Corn Bread this year but I was able to enjoy super yummy chinese food in Taiwan. Reggie and I (along with my mom, sis, nephew, niece) were in Taiwan together all last week. Reggie has been on a chinese food kick lately so it was perfect timing. He was fascinated by the fact all he saw were chinese people and all the chinese people were fascinated with his curly hair. We took an overnight trip outside of Taipei to Hualin and got to see where my mom grew up and we stayed at a farm resort. I was amused that at a family resort the hotel had condoms in the drawer. Apparently in China all the hotel rooms are stocked. Our second day in Hualin we went to chinese version of Sea World and we went on several rides, caught a few shows, and had a photo op with the dolphin and sea lion.

I will post some pixs soon as soon as my sister downloads them -there are some very funny pixs especially one of Reggie making sure the sea lion does not kiss him.

My boss happened to be in Taipei with his band -random right- and so I was able to catch their performance and be part of their entourage for the day since they needed a guide/translator. They were total rock stars in Taipei- they signed autographs, pose for pictures, and they even had groupies. It was my first time experiencing Taipei night life & we had a blast.

This weekend I'm headed to Scottsdale for a conference and I will be back in NY at the end of the month.

Have to end this with something funny reggie said last night. After being denied of eating 2 lollipops, Reggie responded with: Please I will be your best friend if you let me eat the lollipops...

Hope everyone had a happy Turkey Day -
